About
I work at the National Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, where I lead the team that designs, builds and rolls out the information systems behind national statistical data collection, processing and reporting. My path there went from database engineering to AI implementation to running the department.
Day to day that means data architecture in PostgreSQL, backend services in Python and Django, integrations over REST APIs, and working out where AI genuinely helps official statistics — vector search, RAG and LLM tooling — rather than where it merely looks impressive.
